Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission of Bihar has the Written exam for Sub-Inspectors. The exam took place in two shifts at all examination centres at once. As per the reports, more than 4 Lakh candidates are taking part in the examination for Police Sub Inspector recruitment.
The BPSSC Board will release the Bihar Police SI Answer Key 2021 online after a few days of the examination. The Answer key will be uploaded to the official website mentioned above. Candidates can download the answer key in a pdf file and match their answer sheets accordingly.

BPSSC has been conducting Sub-Inspector and Sargeant Recruitment on the regular basis to meet the need of personnel in the department. Recruitment for another 2213 posts was announced in August 2020. The recruitment was delayed for a few months because of the Covid19 Breakout.
Now, the board has conducted a written exam in the first phase of the Recruitment. The candidates who have appeared for the written exam now are in search of the Bihar Police Answer Key.

Answer Key Objections & Answer Sheet Process
As soon as the board releases the answer key on the official website, candidates are allowed to download the answer key. The board will accept the objections in a specific pattern. The BPSSC board will release the objection format for the representations along with the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector answer key.
The candidates should check the answer key properly and if they find any differences in the answer key, they must submit objections against such answers. The candidates should also ensure that they are submitting valid objections only. They are advised to submit documentary proof of the correct answer.
Thereafter, the BPSSC board will only revise the valid objections. Invalid objections against the incorrect answers will not be revised. Thereafter, the board will prepare the final answer key to the exam. The Result will also be prepared according to the final answer key. Therefore, candidates should ascertain if the objections they are submitting are legitimate or not.
BPSSC has not yet released the 2021 notification for the Bihar Police SI exams. We are in hope that it will be released soon.
In previous Year, BPSSC had released 2213 vacancies in total.
The total vacancies are divided among the two notified posts i.e Sub-inspector & Sergeant. The maximum number of vacancies is available for the post of Police Sub Inspector i.e. 1998. Refer the table below to know more:

Candidates must have an educational qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from any recognized institute or any other equivalent recognized qualification.

Bihar Police SI Physical Efficiency Test
For Male Candidates
- Race – 1-mile to be completed in 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
- High Jump – Minimum 4 Feet
- Long Jump – Minimum 12 Feet
- Shot Put Throw – Minimum 16 Feet with 16 pounds of Ball.
For Female Candidates
- Race – 1 kilometre within 6 minutes.
- High Jump – Minimum 3 Feet
- Long Jump – Minimum 9 Feet
- Shot Put Throw – Minimum 10 Feet with 12 pounds of Ball.
Bihar Police SI Eligibility Criteria 2020 – Nationality
Candidates who are applying for the post of Bihar Police SI should be Indian National or candidates will not be considered eligible for the examination.

Important Points to Keep in Mind
- Candidates should keep in mind their date of birth before applying for the post to make sure they are eligible for the examination.
- Candidates must have an educational qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree which is the least qualification required to be eligible for the Bihar Police SI Exam.
- Candidates should note the Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency requirements in order to prepare them for tests.
- The number of attempts by a candidate is not mentioned by the BPSSC, but it is always good for candidates to try to get through in the first attempt.
