01.. ARRANT (adjective) : कुख्यात

Meaning: used to say how bad something is.

अर्थ: कहना कि कुछ कितना बुरा है।

Synonyms: utter, absolute, complete, thorough.

Antonyms: dubious, questionable, restricted, uncertain.

Example : Because of her arrant devotion to her family, she volunteered to go to the labor camp with them.


02. PROTAGONISTS(noun) : मुख्य पात्र

Meaning: the leading character or one of the major characters in a play, film, novel, etc.

अर्थ: किसी नाटक, फिल्म, उपन्यास आदि में प्रमुख चरित्र या प्रमुख पात्रों में से एक।

Synonym: supporter, upholder

Antonym: opponent

ExampleFor the next nine years he was the protagonist of Reform.


03. RELEGATE (Verb) : निर्वासित कर देना

Meaning: assign an inferior rank or position to.

अर्थ: हीन पद या पद को सौंपना।

Synonyms: downgrade, banish, exile, degrade

Antonyms: upgrade, promote

Example : If you don’t want your boss to relegate you to the status of unemployed, you’d better watch what you say on social media.


04. PURITANICAL (adjective): सख़्त

Meaning: having or displaying a very strict or censorious moral attitude towards self-indulgence.

अर्थ: स्व-भोग के प्रति बहुत सख्त या असंवेदनशील नैतिक रवैया रखना या प्रदर्शित करना।

Synonyms: prudish, puritan, prim, priggish.

Antonyms: lecherous, indulgent, indecent, debauched.

Example : It just shows that those endless puritanical bromides about the perils of fixating on individual designers are wasted breath.


05. Protege (Noun) : आश्रित

Meaning: A person who is guided and supported by an older and more experienced or influential person.

अर्थ: एक व्यक्ति जो एक बड़े और अधिक अनुभवी या प्रभावशाली व्यक्ति द्वारा निर्देशित और समर्थित है।

Synonyms: Pupil, student, trainee.

Antonyms: Guardian, adult

06. CYNICAL : मानवद्वेषी

Meaning: doubtful as to whether something will happen or whether it is worthwhile.

अर्थ: संदेह के रूप में कि क्या कुछ होगा या क्या यह सार्थक है।

Synonyms: sceptical, doubtful, distrustful, suspicious

Antonyms: optimistic, credulous

ExampleShe may be cynical about the film industry, but ultimately she has no intention of biting the hand that feeds her.


07. Divulge(Verb) : रहस्य खोलना

Meaning: Make known something, such as a confidence or secret.

अर्थ: किसी चीज को ज्ञात करना, जैसे कि आत्मविश्वास या रहस्य।

Synonym: promulgate, declare

Antonym: conceal

Example: She does not want to divulge any information regarding the nature of her speech in order to keep the curiosity alive.


08. Disorientation(Noun) : भटकाव

Meaning: the condition of having lost one’s sense of direction.

अर्थ: किसी की दिशा खो जाने की स्थिति

Synonym: addle, baffle

Antonym: reassure, satisfy

ExampleA vague feeling of disorientation or strangeness relative to the immediate environment.


09. Banter (noun) : मज़ाक

Meaning: the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks.

अर्थ: चिढ़ाने वाली टिप्पणियों का चंचल और मैत्रीपूर्ण आदान-प्रदान।

Synonym: wisecracks, crosstalk, wordplay, ribbing.

Antonym: flattery, praise, work

10. NEUROSIS (NOUN) : विक्षिप्त

Meaning: mental and emotional disorder that affects only part of the personality

अर्थ: मानसिक और भावनात्मक विकार जो व्यक्तित्व के केवल हिस्से को प्रभावित करता है

Synonyms: aberration, dementia,hallucinosis, hypomania, paranoia

Antonyms: lucidity, rationality, rationalness, reasonability
